Meeting of the Austrian-Turkmen Society
The members of Society, the directors of large European companies, were invited to the meeting: Sigmapharm Arzneimittel GmbH, DiproMed GmbH, BS Global GmbH, GESSCON GmbH, TECHCON GmbH, Gebrüder Weiss GmbH East plus, Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH, Kapsch TrafficCom AG, BertschLaska Produktions-und Handels GmbH and Waagner Biro, interested in continuing fruitful cooperation with Turkmenistan and further implementing joint projects.
All these firms have been actively working with Turkmen partners in various sectors of the economy for many years. The plans are to expand the areas of partnership and deepen cooperation at all levels. As Oswald Hutter, Regional Sales Director of Waagner biro “Bridge systems”, highlighted in an interview with ORIENT, the company’s job is to interconnect markets. And Turkmenistan, as a convenient transport hub of the continent, is a promising partner and customer. Johan Ziska, Managing Director of Waagner biro also supported this idea by.
Members of the Austrian-Turkmen Society will also discuss the possibility of holding the 5th Vienna Ball in Ashgabat as part of the International Conference on December 11-12, 2020, and the participation in the concert of famous Bulgarian opera star, mezzo-soprano singer Vesselina Kasarova, the performance of the Galkynysh Orchestra in Vienna and the holding of Turkmenistan’s Culture Days in Austria, the work of the joint Turkmen-Austrian Commission, expansion of membership in the Society and other issues.
