The Memorandum between International University for the Humanities and Development and the Tokyo Uni

http://www.turkmenistan-kultur.at/images/praesentation-2017/e-s.jpgAt the International University for the Humanities and Development was conducted the meeting with members of the Japanese delegation as part of the President of the Tokyo University of International Studies Hirotaka Tateishi and Vice President Sukero Ito. This is the regular visit of Japanese colleagues to our country, aimed at expanding the geography of international humanitarian cooperation, in particular, for further development of the bilateral partnership in higher education.

The key moment of the Japanese delegation visit was the solemn ceremony of signing the Memorandum on academic exchange of students between the International University for the Humanities and Development and the Tokyo University of International Studies. The main purpose of the memorandum is to create a platform for implementing the multifaceted potential of cooperation, which involves the organization of student exchanges and the conduct of relevant scientific research. Already in the upcoming - 2017-2018 academic year, Turkmen students will have the opportunity to undergo training in one of the best universities in the Land of the Rising Sun.

As known, the Japanese Cultural and Educational Center successfully operates at the International University for the Humanities and Development. It is organized not only for students and teachers of this university, but for all those who has willing to learn the Japanese language, get acquainted with the history and culture of the Land of the Rising Sun, its modern achievements. The Center also carries out work related to the coordination of joint educational programs of the two partner universities.

Besides the point, cultural and educational centers similar to Ashkhabad successfully operate in higher educational institutions of Great Britain, Spain, Serbia, Mexico, Brazil, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Russia, China, Korea and other countries. This experience is of particular interest to the Turkmen side in the context of expanding humanitarian cooperation.

During the current meeting, a lecture course was conducted for students and teachers of the Turkmen higher educational institution from the vice-president of the Tokyo University of International Studies Sukero Ito, as well as an interesting conversation about the current aspects of bilateral cooperation. In particular, it was a question of joint work, which is to be carried out within the framework of the implementation of research and educational projects, the potential academic exchange program for students, which is of great importance for universities interested in attracting international students and developing international relations.

Both parties confirmed the readiness for realization of signed Memorandum, which gives the boost to Turkmen-Japanese relationship.

Thematic exhibition and a concert with the participation of the creative teams of the university was organized as part of the program of the visit in the International University for the Humanities and Development.
